Re: ARM Stamp IO Test Program

Thank you for that, I have a similar program, but I never tested those 2 pins that I usually use for a serial port.

Re: Documentation, broken link

OK you win the prize for longest important un-noticed typo. Thanks for pointing that out. The schematic is correct

The STAMP_PINS.bas file should swap the 18 and 19

As well as the help file pin diagram, making the web help changes now, the others will take effect when I do a new setupBASIC.exe

Re: ARMbasic Compiler Problem

The compiler now expects a MAIN: to be part of your program, and in any large program would be there anyway So when you load a file in for compiling it must have a MAIN; and if your code starts at the first statement the MAIN: needs to be there. I will add a page to describe unreachable statement er...

Re: ConBasic- Hello World

In theory mixing C and BASIC could be done, but it would not be straight forward. All the hooks are there, but in my opinion it would be a hard task to try to mix the 2. C on BASiC calls routines in the firmware for IO, PRINT and a number of other functions. Those happen to be written in C. Taking a...

Re: DIY WiFi Programmable Thermostat

You can attach files including .xls types (spreadsheets), according to a menu I just looked at. Never tried that myself, I always graphed the data in the spreadsheet (I use Open Office), and then took a screen shot of it and posted it. A 4 wire system (must be heat and cooling), if that's the case o...

Re: Error on "Jump Around" Statements

OK, I did not look hard enough, and will remove the other jumpAround's The compiler is a single pass compiler so it does not know whether there is a MAIN or not. It does allow a GOTO as the first statement in a program, but if there is a SUB /FUNCTION before that, that GOTO would never be executed s...

Re: Error on "Jump Around" Statements

Thank you for isolating and explaining the issue. The compiler now flags as an error, code that would not be executed, which in this case is the GOTO Jumparound in the libraries. A better fix is to remove those GOTO's, which I will do in the 3 libraries I see them in. The compiler also now flags a p...

Re: Help getting started - my project goals

While Olzeke has been able to duplicate this (after many attempts) I have not been able to.

I put a couple changes to attempt to force choices away from root directory or program directory.

Seems to me, if you run any of the examples (from the Tools menu), the error would go away.
