Hi All,
I needed a cheap remote to interface with the Coridium board for a project and
found these guys:
http://www.lightobject.com/4CH-RF-Remot ... -P110.aspx
That's a 4 button key fob remote and a small 5 volt receiver board for $12.50.
Anybody seen any better pricing/functionality for something like this?
They claim 150 meter range, but I haven't verified that.
It's basically a garage door opener, or car remote door lock type key fob with a
slide cover to keep the buttons from getting pressed in your pocket.
The receiver board has a 7 pin male header with 5V, Gnd, D0, D1, D2, D3, and Vt
No docs with it, but in operation it seems to just momentarily switch on the D
pins based on which remote button is pressed.
It's fine for on-off stuff but I haven't had a chance to test it with things
like remote controlled spot lights or security cameras yet to see if it has fast
enough response time to be useful for that.
