Motor control and timers

>We will be using this as a motor controller and the timing needs to be accurate. I would like to run at 100MHz. How do we do that? We don't have SMT capability here any longer. Can we buy boards with the crystal mounted?

We can do custom stuffing of the board, and we will quote that, but depending on what components need to be added, there will be minimum quantities (for simple things at least 10).

As for accurate time, if you stuff a 12 MHz crystal, the part will be running BASIC at 96 MHz, and all the TIMERS we use are set accordingly. In the default setup the internal RC oscillator is used, which is 1% accurate.
