I think maybe the firmware has grown? Installing it on the mite wrote sectors
0,1,2,3 or 16K. Bruce will know for sure.
In any case I think I can probably help reduce the size of the lib somewhat.
To avoid forum clutter I'd prefer to correspond by email - posting relevant
stuff back here. Thoughts?

Yes for the ARM parts (LPC21xx) the floating point grows the firmware to 16K
from 12K.
For the Cortex parts (LPC17xx and LPC11xx) the firmware squeezes into 12K. In
addition the BASIC code emitted by the compiler is THUMB mode so its mostly 16
bit fields. Most comparisons of THUMB vs ARM code I remember seeing are about
30% less in size.
