Good day, folks.

One of the things that I have been doing since my getting back into
programming micros is to keep looking for the best tools to help
improve efficiency.

I had, up until recently, been using Crimson Editor, as it was
realitively easy to customize for use in the ARMbasic Programming
Environment. I have located what I feel is a tool that strongly
trumps Crimson Editor. The tool that I am refering to is NotePad++
(NPP).

NPP not only has the syntax highlighting, but also supports
syntax 'folding' - one of the neatest things since sliced bread!

I'd be doing it an injustice in trying to describe it, along with all
of the other features that it brings to the table. A pic is worth a
thousand words here, and I will post a couple up in the photos
section. Additionally, I suggest that you take the time to look at
their website, to see what else the tool is capable of - quite a bit!

Others - In all seriousness, I too used CE for a good portion of my
ARMbasic coding tenure. CE is stable and darn feature-ful. If you
choose to use CE, you will be well served.!.

If, however, you want to maximixe efficiency and tweak the
environment to your liking, then I respectfully suggest that you take
a good look at NPP.
