was RTFM and found a page that said the requirements for ARMBasic included this:
"The ARMbasic compiler runs on the Windows PC, all versions after Windows XP.."

My understanding is that it is not guaranteed to work on XP .... is that correct??
Might explain some of the issues I've had.

XP works fine, I changed that line to XP and later. We do not support Win95 or Win98 anymore.
